High School Completion/GED Prep/HISET Prep/Increase Skill Levels

Students can earn a diploma, prepare for GED/HISET/High School Equivalency testing, and develop academic skills for employment or post-secondary admission. This program features online learning programs individualized lessons, self-paced study, and flexible learning schedules with certified teacher support. Classes are completed virtually with an optional classroom/computer lab that is available Tuesday through Thursday 9:30 am – 12:30 pm for daytime students OR Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm for evening students.

Requirements: Students must be 18 years or older and must qualify through placement testing.  A $40 non-refundable registration fee is required, otherwise, classes are FREE for eligible students.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Online registration will reopen on JANUARY 12, 2026 through APRIL 30, 2026. Please continue to check the website for updates. After students complete the online registration and payment, an email with details will be sent from our registration coordinator, and the placement test will be scheduled. Please check spam/junk folders as sometimes emails will be there.

Allow 1-2 business days for staff to process registrations.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

Our next in person registration will be in JANUARY 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. Please continue to check the website for updates. Come to Room 20 at the Troy Learning Center for an open registration session. Registration paperwork and math/reading placement testing is about a 3-hour process. Please bring a picture ID and Social Security Number. The building address is 1522 East Big Beaver Rd in Troy, 48083. Park on the West side of the building and enter through the middle doors facing the parking lot to get to Room 20.

MINIMUM DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS

Program diploma requirements include a minimum of 2 credits (4 classes) must be earned through Troy Adult Continuing Education unless previous credits have been earned from a Troy School District high school; in which case, a minimum of 1 credit (2 classes) must be earned through Troy Adult Continuing Education. All students must also take the Troy Adult Continuing Education program posttest to earn a diploma.

Creating a Family Account

Follow these steps to create your profile

Troy School District and Troy Continuing Education have transitioned to a new online tool to register and manage your child’s registration and enrollments.

Create Your Account Profile:

Browse to the website: https://troy.ce.eleyo.com/
Create your profile by selecting Sign In (top, right corner).
To create a new profile, log in with Facebook or Google -or- select Create One Now.
When creating an account within the system, you will be required to enter your basic contact information including an email address (used for logging in) and a password. If your email address is recognized, use the Send Forgot Password Email to receive a password set email.
Complete the profile form and select Create Account. An email will be sent from Eleyo with a link to verify your account. Use the Verify Your Email Address button on that email to verify your account.

Add Family Members and Emergency Contacts:

If you are not already on the website, browse to https://troy.ce.eleyo.com/ and login with your email address and password by selecting the Sign In button.
Select your name in the top right, corner of the screen then select Your Account and/or Relationships to view your profile.
Use the Add a Relationship button to add all family members.
Select the Create Person button.
After you have finished setting up the people associated with your profile, select the Explore button under Account Management, then select Explore All Programs then Your Dashboard.
On the left, under the Manage Family Members section, use the Add Emergency Contacts button to add new emergency contacts. Use the Edit Emergency Contacts button to update that information. To prevent creating duplicate users in the system, when adding an emergency contact that is already part of your profile, please search for the name then select from the list of existing users that are presented.

This quick reference will walk you through the process of enrolling a student for a course.

Login
Browse to the website: https://troy.ce.eleyo.com/
Select Sign Up (top, right corner) and enter your login credentials.

NOTE: If your email address is recognized as a previously registered user, please use the Forgot Password link to receive an emailed link to create a password.

Enroll Student for a Course:

Select Explore All Programs.
Select Adult Academics.
Select High School Completion/GED Prep/HISET Prep/Increase Skill Levels.
Select EITHER Show All at the top right OR View All Courses at the bottom.
Select High School Completion/GED Prep/HISET Prep/Increase Skill Levels course.
Select Enroll Now at the right side of the screen.
If you are not already signed in, you must do so now. If you need to create an account, do so now.
Choose Attendee.
Accept Terms.
Complete question form.
Click Answer and Enroll People.
Select GREEN checkout button at top of screen OR view your cart.
Pay with either Credit/Debit Card or Bank Account.
